WATCH: Nine-Year-Old Boy Wins European Gull Screeching Contest

We bet his parents wish he’d just gotten a drum set instead.

Nine-year-old Cooper Wallace shook the world by taking down the European Gull Screeching contest.

What, you may ask, is the European Gull Screeching contest?

The name is surprisingly literal; people get together to imitate seagulls – and not just their screech.

The judges analyze each contestant by criteria including the calls themselves, the competitor's seagull garb, and their ability to emulate seabird behavior, which Wallace showed off by pecking at his sister's french fries.

He scored a total of 92 points out of 100, easily winning the juvenile category and earning the most points of any competitor in any age range at the event.

Wallace's mother, Lauren, said her family learned of the competition in Belgium after a stranger overheard Cooper practicing his calls in public and suggested he enter. And the rest is seagull history.
